Jade's camera is her most prized possession and the tool of her trade. It is a digital camera capable of storing and transmitting images, scanning maps, and linking with various databases: including the item catalogue in a SAC, the Science Center species database, Hillyan Army files, and other civilian and astronomical databases.
The built-in scanalyzer can scan maps and the like and analyze the information contained.
It can be upgraded with a zoom for photographic far-away objects.
